The cleanliness in this hotel was well below what was expected. The room was dusty (could see hand prints in it), the curtains were stained with white blotches, towels were dirty, furniture was old and stained. Bedding had holes in it. Most uncomfortable hotel bed I’ve experienced and thin lumpy pillows. No amenities in bathroom beyond a body wash that doubled as shampoo. The dishes at breakfast were grimy and the breakfast area was freezing. Overall not an enjoyable stay, would absolutely not stay again.

We had a difficult time getting checked in, as there was no one there when we arrived and my US phone had a hard time connecting to the posted UK number. But the owner arrived soon and everything was great! The restaurant is very unique with lots of antiques, and the food was fabulous! Breakfast was made to order and fabulous!! I highly recommend!

Staff were friendly who we saw. Very limited parking even street parking is limited due to permits needed. No breakfast even though it stated breakfast. Rooms could do with an update. Bar area is nice to have a drink and can imagine in the summer would be a great place

Perfect stay, clean comfortable room and really reasonable food and drink price. On this sunny day the beer garden is second to none! Will stay again.
