the staff, the building/facilities itself, and cleanliness were great two things that could use some work though: water took a long time to get warm and didn't stay warm all the time television even when watching regular "live TV" often froze and needed to load/buffer

Last time I stayed here it was great but this time outside of the valet the service was bad. I asked 2 mornings for them to clean my room and it never got cleaned. Will just stay at a chain moving forward if I visit Richmond.

This is a wonderful hotel - staff are very welcoming and the room we had on the 2nd floor was excellent. We loved the local art on the walls and the outdoor patio was great to have a drink - have dinner. The location is excellent and I highly recommend doing a walk through the Cary Park next door (particularly at night). Absolutely recommend.

They properly was really nice and I really like the decor and amenities. We were disappointed, however to learn upon arrival that they rooftop restaurant was closed for a private function. We were excited in advance for our trip about having some social time there, only to find that it was closed.
