Rooms need maintenance,the floor turned our socks black,mold in bathroom,bad sink and tub.i don't think it would meet anyones standard

While we didn't think this would be like a room at the Holiday Inn, we weren't prepared for the cute little room we got. The rooms are what used to be a RR station and have been upfitted with enough modern conveniences that you won't be disappointed - surprised, but not disappointed. Our room (and I assume the others are like this) was filled with gadgets, devices, and appliances that were vintage for the time the RR was operating and stopped there (think early 1900's). It was fun to try and figure out what these items were used for back in the day. They have WiFi, a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave so you're not back in the 1900's yourself. It's an interesting mix of eclectic, nostalgic, and quaint. Very nice!

There is a nice ocean view. There is no inside seating in the small room. There are a couple of chairs outside on a patio through a sliding glass door by a large above ground hot tub. The room was very small with a king bed that filled it and had a small television. There is a small connected private bathroom. The room had a bit of a musty smell from the carpet , and leaving the sliding glass door open was not an option because there was no screen. The room was downstairs. The entry area outside the room where the coffee stand is (shared with owner and possibly another guest) smelled a little moldy. The shared space is upstairs with owners and a sweet little dog. Did not feel comfortable going up there so don’t know what it is like. On arrival, you are warned not to cook or be in the kitchen much other than to possibly use the microwave. Did not end up going upstairs into owner space featured in photos or staying so this only represents a first impression.

We loved this property- SO pretty! We stayed in the Vanilla Villa and it was so beautifully done. Rustic cabin with mid century decor, and super cute finishing touches. There is a full kitchen that was super useful especially if you are traveling with kids. With an absolutely stunning panoramic view of the gorgeous lake. Check in was super smooth and Missy was very friendly. They have bocce ball, firepits, swings, a dock, and kayaks. The only reason we deducted a star is because we had a strange occurrence with our front door being opened. We reported to management but haven’t heard back on an explanation. Other than that our stay was very nice and would come back .

Property was over priced for quality. Bed cover had stain (red) was either jelly or blood. Hope it was jelly. Bed was messy when made on far side . Parking was at a minimum and had to walk up hill to get to room. Not handicap friendly. One lady barely got her father up steps. He had a walker and thought it was a ground level. But there are steps. Breakfast is a grab and go. Not really an included breakfast. Was first disappointment on a multi week trip

Everything was as we expected as we’ve stayed here before. The only problem we had was the internet connection was unavailable in one of our rooms.

We absolutely loved our small cabin. It was a beautiful view from the windows and from the hot tub.
