Great for Myrtle beach

Roaches, supervisor staff was not helpful in getting refund. No help at all.

A great place to stay with a family as the staff is very attentive and if you don't need room service nightly--they will give you a $5 credit to use for food and drink at the site EACH night you put the reminder on the door! The shuttle to the beach leaves every 15 minutes and is a breeze to get there with air conditioned shuttle and towels for you to take with you to the beach and bring back to the bus. There is a place outside of the Marina Inn where you can put beach toys you may have bought and don't want to take home with you that you can use and bring back so others can use as part of a community toy system they have set up with boogie boards, sand toys, shovels, etc. Definitely a place worth checking out and staying for an extended period as it was one of the best places on a vacation we have stayed that is within driving distance of the heart of Myrtle Beach with activities, dining, etc.

Everything is very pricey but ok resort parking isn't free and it should be if your staying there 250 on your card for damages if any. Very crowded at all times ocean front rooms are small

I visited this place 4-5 years ago and I loved it but it was lacking a better outdoor kids pool. Fast forward to today it’s still the same issue, nothing for kids to really do or play in other than the lazy river. When it comes to the room I was glad to see that the carpet flooring had been replaced with something more suitable. But the living room chairs are so outdated, the curtains are old and started to crack. My dvd player in the living room didn’t work so I couldn’t watch the movie I picked out for the kiddos to watch. And then I had a phone issue…it didn’t work the whole time being there and I was told twice that someone was going to come to fix it. Never got done. And then there’s the neighbors issue. When it came time to lay down after being tired from being up all day in the sun moving around, dealing with kids, had a bite to eat…the neighbors want to start beating on the walls, stomping loud, and the doors have no pressure to them so when someone closes the doors it’s a loud bang. I may give this place a try one more time because I love the location right down from the amusement park, and I love eating eat Scooby’s. It is so convenient to have a place that serves food and alcohol beverages right outside attached to the hotel.
