The front desk had a miscommunication as to how to get to the hotel around a closed road crash which cost us 1.5 hours of driving and not being able to get there. We asked for a partial refund and they were unhelpful. It ultimately was a misunderstanding of which direction we were coming from and which road block we were needing to get around I found dealing with them after the fact very not compassionate even if they couldn’t offer a refund, making it feel entirely like my fault for not being willing to drive 2.5 more hours on the 154 mile detour that was there saying I was the only guest not to make it. A great way to make someone want to return! Make them feel bad about it.

I really want to give the place five stars but there are several issues the we encountered during our stay. 1. There is no customer service. You can't call the front we have to walk there from another building. No conditioner in the bathrooms. 2. The only luxury in the place is the space. It's spacious but not luxurious. There's a very steep stairs to the upper room 3. There was construction on the road. The windows don't seal and my two kids had to breathe asphalt fumes and we had to hear the beeping sound of equipment and heavy compactors all afternoon. The staff said the fumes are perfectly fine to breathe and offered no other resolution or anything else to make up the inconvenience. Other than that the staff is very nice and the service and restaurant food is excellent. But when I booked a room on what appeared to be a river side quiet place and got a subpar apartment with construction and no room service it was quiet disappointing.

Since the new management team has taken over its night and day. They are so friendly and helpful and they will actually make a latte in the morning.

Very spacious nice 2 bedroom in a great location. They even thought about parking which was included and walking distance at the local mall. Only warning is no elevator (unless we missed it the entire time) which could prove challenging for some people. We were ok but 2 large 50lbs suitcases for the family up and down were not expected and may not be for everyone.
