I am writing this review primarily to commend the gentleman who checked us in, checked us out, and was manning the front desk virtually the entire time we stayed at the hotel. I did not get his name, but he is an older gentleman who was polite, professional, kind, and friendly. He was also a great conversationalist. He personally took care to be sure our stay went well, and it did.

The first room I was in was next to some sort of mechanical room or some very loud machine sound and the floor was vibrating. The staff helped me move to a quieter room, but quiet is relative. It’s old buildings

This hotel is conveniently located and clean. Front desk night staff was not helpful. The room was a suite, which was not expected, but the coffee maker is atrocious. Time to upgrade the amenities. Coffee in addition to tea and cookies in reception would be nice. And how about some bottled water for guests. The cold tap water was milky and warm. Yuck! Though this was our second time here, we may choose something nicer next time.
