We normally stay at Shenandoah Crossing in a yurt or cabin. This trip was unfortunately disappointing. My husband booked this trip and we were in a cabin. The cabin appeared clean but was filthy and we got ate up with bug bites on our feet and ankles. Needless to say we only had a 2 night stay but only stayed one night. I asked for a refund due to the condition of the unit and was told since we booked through an on line site we were not able to have a refund or credit. Very disappointing trip.

The inn is very charming and the location is great but the room I had in the building where the front desk is smelled musty and damp. I moved rooms in the same building and it was a little better. But the whole building was kind of musty like a basement. There were gnats and ice wasn’t readily available. The staff were very friendly.

Unique and fun property with a 1960's design - both exterior and interior. It even included a 1960's pink princess telephone. But the motel had the comforts of 2026 with a jumbo size TV, comfortable bed and pillows and large bathroom. Each room had a record player with records. I was excited to spin some 33's but both the record player in my room and a second I secured from the lobby were broken. The staff said they were not familiar with how they worked and could not offer any assistance. Bummer! Parking is a block away at a public garage. The hotel offers an in and out garage pass for $20. Garage is somewhat rough around the edges. A number of restaurants beginning in the adjacent block. Even with a few disappointments, I would definitely return again.

This was one of the best stays we have ever had. A truly phenomenal place.

This hotel is a hidden gem. We stayed 2 nights in a Superior King Suite with a somewhat full-size refrigerator and 2 TVs. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was above average and well maintained. The price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this hotel.
