We were in the penthouse and it was fabulous!

I booked this stay last minute - so it was 100 times better than camping in the rain would have been! Unfortunately, we could not figure out how to turn some of the lights off in the room since they were not controlled by the main light switches so the lights remained on all night. Then around 10am (1 hour before check out), housekeeping or another employee used a key to momentarily open our door unannounced. We had a dog with us and had signed the waiver which I believe stated that no one would come into the room, we even had the ‘Do Not Disturb’ light switched on. Overall, the hotel was VERY nice. We loved the kitchenette and the sofa in the King room. It was great to be able hanging out with our friends since our camping trip was cut short. We would definitely stay at this hotel again, as long as someone tells us how to turn off all the lights and no one surprises us by opening the door.

We LOVED our 2-night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lodging was clean and simply laid out but peaceful and nestled in a beautiful setting. Kingfisher restaurant is amazing. We had the salad and papers (excellent), chicken and rockfish. All were good and reasonably priced. What’s amazing is that we didn’t even have to go into town.
