Nickeled and Dimed us to death for everything. Icebucket in room but no icemachines!

Check in was a nightmare! Different variable room rates for the upgrade for every person at the counter. The dynamic pricing was silly. From $13-$125. After a manager intervened we agreed the rate was to be $54/night no view. When we got to the room the air conditioning was rattling. Someone came to fix it. Then when we got back after dinner the refrigerator had leaked all over the floor and carpet. After waiting for 30 minutes on the phone to reach someone, maintenance finally came. Then my wife went down to check in and had a discussion with a “supervisor” and he agreed to credit one night extra rate and a $75 food voucher. We had to repack everything and get a bellman to help move us to another room. The new room had a smaller bed. It was after midnight before we got settled. A horrible first time experience. When we checked out they had not credited the one night upgrade charge. We had to see a manager again. Not a happy time to start off our short vacation.

Everything we'd hoped it would be and better than promised!

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. And quiet! It was in the best location for someone new to Philadelphia. You can walk to anything. All I would say is a door to the room with the shower would be nice and the refrigerator in the room was simply too small. The cleaning staff and the front desk staff were marvelous. And we loved our view. The floor to ceiling windows were awesome.

The hotel looks good from the outside, but the interior is so old and lacks maintenance. The room is kind of small, with only a chest, a desk, and no sofa. Everything looks so outdated. I bet he had his glory time before, but not anymore. The only positive for review is the location; it's very convenient.

The room was clean and nice. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. However the pool was cold like so cold you didn’t want to swim. I got this hotel bc of the pool and my son was shivering after 10 mins in there. It was so cold I couldn’t get in. I paid extra for the breakfast and the check in person didn’t give me a voucher or tell me any information about it. I asked the next day and told them I missed it that first day and didn’t get any compensation for that. The pool room was dirty, dark and old. The shuttle from the airport was convenient coming every 30 mins however on the way to the airport it filled up and we couldn’t go at the time we wanted. We had to wait a half hour. We were there before other people who rushed ahead and got on the van.

Great location, and hotel! Staff was awesome and so helpful and friendly! Would stay again when in Philly!
