The property was clean and well maintained. The front desk made checking in easy. This is second time I stayed here and would definitely recommend it to others. It’s a cost efficient place when in Orlando

Great property was very nice. Couldn’t use amenities due to rainy weather. But the condo was great with space. I would rebook.

When I checked into the resort, my colleagues and I asked to be placed in the same building. Since I was the last to check in, I was upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, which was a nice gesture and appreciated. Unfortunately, my experience quickly changed. There was a roach in my room the first night. Because the property was about 95% sold out, I was told there were no rooms available for me to switch to. I killed the roach, but the following day I found another one. I contacted the front desk, and maintenance came to spray the room. I also reached out to Expedia to see if they could assist with some type of discount or compensation due to the pest issue, but the property declined. Considering I was unable to move to another room because the resort was nearly full, I believe the property could have at least comped one or two nights for the inconvenience. While I appreciated the room upgrade, the roach problem and the lack of any meaningful resolution overshadowed that positive experience. Because of how this situation was handled, I will likely not stay at a Westgate property again or book through Expedia in the future.

Checked in for an apartment unit at front desk. To get a parking pass, they tried to get me to sign up for an 90 min presentation for the timeshare. You are able to bypass that if you stick to it! Upon entering the unit though, the musty smell hits you as soon as you enter. Also unit didn’t have a stove in it like advertised. Went to Publix for a few things to have for the next day. Came back in to find a bed bug in the pull out couch!! I took the bed bug up to front desk wrapped in paper towel. Front desk lady told me to throw it away. She then proceeded to tell me that there was no other apartment unit available for my family to be transferred to. She said I could check out and get refunded since the bed bug was found. After calling Expedia and told them the situation, I was told it was escalated to the manger. Two days later I received an email saying that no refunded would be sent but only sent me OneCash that doesn’t even touch the amount I paid!!! I called the resort myself to ask why I wasn’t getting a refund and was told by the reservation department that their pest control couldn’t find any evidence of bed bugs. I told her I took it up to the front desk even and she still told me sorry, FL has a lot of bugs. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PLACE OR THRU EXPEDIA!!!! Terrible service all around!

Great location next to all shopping and food restaurants. I can’t wait to come back again.

I was incredibly disappointed with my stay at this property. Two major issues ruined the experience for us: The Elevator: The elevator consistently smelled strongly of urine throughout our entire stay. It was highly unpleasant and a major hygiene concern. The Breakfast: The breakfast provided was very low quality. The options were lacking, and what was available did not taste fresh or appealing. Between the terrible smell in the elevator and the poor food quality, I would not recommend staying here until management addresses these basic cleanliness and service standards. Rating: 2/5 stars (or 1/5)

There were no closets for it to be named a Villa studio. No utensils. There was a door in the bathroom by the toilet so super awkward to get to the shower. The TV would turn off on its on while watching it. Floors were not mopped. I had to were slippers the entire time. I heard every noise from the street even though we were on the fifth floor. Our clothes lived out of the suitcases due to no hanging storage available. No comforter in the beds. Not sure what the non upgraded room looked like? Just a weird room and not well planned out for it to be called a Villa studio. Bed frame not connected to the headboard and rolled around while sleeping and turning
