The weather was cold & damp but the food & atmosphere inside was warm & welcoming. Although the hotel had not yet turned on the heat, staff encouraged us to ask for more blankets & kept the fireplace in the lobby lit. If there was a fault anywhere, they addressed it with kind advice & good food. What’s not to like?

We arrived a little before check in time but the front desk staff was very accommodating and ensured our room was ready as soon as possible. She also gave us a helpful list of local restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean and the hot breakfast was excellent. We were not traveling with pets this trip, but the hotel is pet-friendly with safe walking areas outside.

Temperatures dropped that night and it was cold. The heater did not warm the room. Due to recent rains there were bugs. Roomkeeping left a dried, half-shell of an avacado behind front door. We slept okay.

The front desk manager was awesome. Very friendly. He even helped me with my bags. I would highly recommend anyone staying here and for the price it is exceptional
