Everything was great. The only problem was that my room was right across from the ice machine, and every morning I woke up at 5:40. The staff needed to use it to fill the bar for the breakfast buffet. I wish that upper management would find a way to put a large machine in another area. This is an ongoing disturbance for anyone on the 1st floor next to the machine. This is NOT an issue the onsite staff can fix. I hope whoever owns the hotel will look into this complaint.

I certanily going to cut expedia loose. they do not know what going on we got booke in a hotel swarming with aunts, two hotels under construction ........that was on expedia.....expediambooked us a room in the Avery and the room was so small both of us could not be comfortable for two nights ....again on expedia...the hotel is vintage, is beautiful and has a geniune warmth to it with a taste of the past. The staff , without hesitation upgraded us to a beautiful room. This will be a place I will return to . The stAFF TOOK CARE OF ME, NOT EXPEDIA

Was not clean how it should have been

A lovely stay in the heart of town, walking distance to most attractions. Bikes are provided for rides, Greenbelt path is blocks away. A/C excellent on day there was a heat wave and an umbrella was by the door on a day that had rain. The property was well kept. So nice to see a historic home repurposed as a guest house.

I travel constantly and rarely leave reviews…especially not 5 star reviews but this place was perfect! Loved my room, loved the location. It’s walking distance from live music, the best cider place I’ve ever been to (Meriwether), restaurants and shopping. The staff was kind and even the available drinks in the shop on site were great.

Staff were great! Rooms were clean
