You can hear your neighbors using the bathroom... doing other business. Terrible room card system. It might work for students or something.. but definitely not for solo female travelers.

Such a family friendly hotel. We were nervous about traveling with a three month old but the location itself was perfect. We stayed in a suite so I was able to manage nursing baby quite well on the road. The beach and pool were only steps away which was helpful!

It’s the old Owen’s Hotel newly remodeled about 3 years ago. Chose Mia’s boutique Hotel because that’s our granddaughters name. The staff was very nice and accommodating to our request to change rooms due to a wobbly toilet. The room was nice, well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were soft. The keurig saved my life with making myself a sweet tea- thank you for the tea pod!!! The shower is big enough for a small child or someone the size of a tooth pick ( if you are a BIG human) you will not fit in the shower, but the water pressure was awesome! The teeny tiny bathroom sink had not counter whatsoever @ a small cabinet underneath. A bathroom rug would have been good stepping out of the shower, but again thanks for the rubber mat for the micro shower it helped. All in all- one night there was great! Small table w/ 2 chairs but not enough lighting on that side of the room over the table. Could barely get by the bed to the bathroom it was tight. But clean, the smell of pine sol when you walk in, comfy beds, great tv selections, clean sheets and great a/c. Worth the money spent!

Worth every penny. The staff is beyond amazing. Friendly, eager to help. The amenities were incredible - the beach chairs and umbrellas (the beach is clean and truly heaven), the adult pool so refreshing and the lounge chairs and umbrella are very nice. The food at Life Saving Station was incredible- from the service to the decor and food. I had the best omelette of my life. The sunset and sunrise was spectacular. And most of all - it is a true vacation….so quiet and peaceful.
