New Point Vacation Packages

We stayed a night after spending the day at Busch! There were 5 of us, and we got two rooms and a couch bed. We paid what I would have at a hotel with two beds. This was nice, 2 separate rooms so our kids weren’t awaken by their father’s snoring. We slept well, everything was comfortable and very clean. We are planning on doing a week trip next year. It is so comfortable. And the amenities that we didn’t use (pools and spa) will be very nice to use next year.

We only stayed 1 night and did not really have the chance to utilize the amenities but would love to come back for a longer stay. The condo we stayed in was great and the resort overall looks beautiful.

Everything and Everybody was AWESOME!!!

Those who help in Check in give bad attention that was the only bad thing about the hotel

Beautiful property and lovely people. The room was mostly as expected except for one issue listed below. The service was very friendly and responsive. However, I would have rather paid a bit more for my room to have less nickel and diming. A list of specific feedback below. There's a 4% per night fee to provide employees with a living wage. I always have a problem with this. It is your job as an owner to pay your employees fairly, not mine. I won't eat at restaurants that do this and I would have chosen to stay somewhere else had I known about this hidden fee. The wifi stopped working at night and the location is a total deadzone for cell service. Nbd because I was on vacation but uncomfortable that my sons couldn't reach me. The hotel is noisy. Creaking floors are one thing but there were full late night parties (past 2am) happening while we were there and no one is on site to call or notify. Breakfast is not a full breakfast as shown. It is bread and mixed fruit and some kind of premade quiche in a warmer. Same every day. They give you a folio at breakfast that encourages you to tip the staff. Cynthia was great but I was already paying an extra 4% a night on my room rate. No housekeeping unless you stay more than 3 nights. Many of the rooms including ours had fireplaces. But there's another undisclosed (before booking) fee if you want a fire started. All the cups and glasses in our room were obviously not clean. They were replaced quickly and with apologies.

Hilton Downtown was a pleasant experience while enjoying the Richmond area. It was very comfortable and clean. The on-site restaurant and bar are delicious and make great drinks. Will stay here again!

The hotel is currently under very new management. It shows. While the staff is terrific, the management of key processes is random. When we signed into our room our television had been unplugged. The refrigerator had been taken outside of the furniture cabinet and was sitting on the floor. Our phone had loose connections and regularly shut down mid-conversation. The new management has eliminated ALL room service meals. one can go to the restaurant and order a take-out meal. We did that. The meals were delicious and the chef is very congenial! Our room HVAC system had a mind of its own. It would regularly switch from cooling to heating even though we didn’t touch the thermostat. If the new management is able to retain their outstanding staff, this hotel stands a good chance at successfully remediating all of these operating system problems. Otherwise, IMHO, this place is doomed.
