Set in beautiful surroundings, full of birds, deer and red squirrels. Room was pleasant, clean and spacious. Lovely friendly gentleman looked after us and gave us great information about the local area. Very peaceful place to stay, great value for money and would definitely stay again

Really enjoyed our stay. The grounds, room and facilities were lovely. The only slight negative for us was restricted hours for family swimming sessions but otherwise we really enjoyed it and can understand the need to please all users. The staff were superb.

There was no breakfast available despite the description stating there was. The bath had no plug & the electric shower was very temperamental (from cold to scalding). The decor left a lot to be desired with nails/screws sticking out of the walls. There wasn’t a TV in each room & bedroom furniture was unstable.
