Nice clean make you feel like you’re at home

This renovated property is clean, well appointed, and overall a great value and great place to stay. We met both the owner and manager; you can tell how serious they both are about customer service and the brand they've created at the colony house. If you enjoy attention to detail, great location in Roanoke, and staff that care about what they're doing, stay here. We would stay again of on the area!

The air conditioning worked well, as did the refrigerator and freezer. The shower was another story: I sometimes had to wait for 10 minutes for hot water. And the TV was the only real amenity other than the refrigerator and freezer. The staff was very helpful and the stay was comfortable and quiet.

My husband and I stayed here for one night for a quick getaway to see a show. It was our first time in Roanoke. This hotel was the perfect spot for us. Location is prime, the staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved the history behind the hotel and how they preserved certain aspects of the building. We woke up wishing we could stay another night. We will definitely be back in Roanoke soon and staying at the Liberty Trust again!

My stay was for 3 nights when I returned to my room on the third night the temperature in my room was 79 degrees due to my air conditioning not working, I called the front desk for help and she stated there was nothing that she can do I asked if she had fans to give us and she stated she didn't. My guest and I tried sleeping throughout the night and couldn't it was totally unbearable. I continued to complain about the condition and was given the number to the GM whom I tried to call several times and let messages and have yet to receive a response. I am totally dissatisfied with their customer service.
