What a beauty!! The hosts were wonderful—helpful and so kind. The motel is literally up the hill from everything in Boothbay Harbor. The price was so affordable and one night wasn’t long enough!! Thank you Mid-Town! We shall return!!

This place was only about a half hour or so from Acadia National Park which was perfect for us. It was a large space for our family of 5. It was clean and organized and had more than 1 bathroom which was necessary. The sitting area easily accommodated all of us as well as the kitchen. It wasn’t far from many places in Ellsworth either. We were able to spend time in Acadia National Park but still have a large enough area for the whole family to relax when we got back. I really appreciated the listing of local places to try or visit. FYI we loved Schoodic Point and Cadillac Mountain especially. Would definitely recommend this place especially with family.

Room was large and comfortable with Keurig coffe machine and free pods. Bathroom was large but had no fan. Safe quiet and walkable location with convenient parking. Stayed 2 nights..room was not serviced. We complained and front desk guy offered to upgrade our room.

Very cute and clean. Very accessible to bar harbor and hiking areas.

Room could have been cleaner (stain on blanket, ceiling bath vent very layered in dust, stain on chair) Our buildings hot water heater broke so there was no hot shower but they let me use another vacant rooms cleaned bathroom and offered us a discount on the rate

The location is unmatched. Right on the bay, the views were spectacular. The problem comes with the cleanliness and upkeep of the place. Our room was ready when we arrived by they forced us to wait until the dot of check-in time to access it. When we went inside our room, it was obvious the room had been sitting dormant for a while. Two wine glasses were sitting on the floor by a table with caked-on dried wine. On walks around the property, it was obvious some amenity locations were in need of refurbishment but they weren't high-use places so it didn't seem like the staff cared. Overall, you can't beat the location. At one time it was probably the crown jewel of Boothbay but they also appear to be resting on their laurels a bit. I would probably return, but with a bit lower expectations. You're booking it for the views and location.
