Rooms smell and hotel is damp

Great bar. I wish that coffee was available near the elevators.

Was able to check in early and received a room upgrade. Parking was convenient and walked to the Bulls game and lunch. It said breakfast available but I couldn’t find it. The patio was open for dinner/room service but nothing about breakfast.

At the front desk, there was a terrible smell. I could see into the office that an office chair was miserably stained and gross and it was being used. My first impression almost made me walk out. The room itself felt like a Microtel by Wyndham - the way I would expect them to be. Very, very nice. But everything surrounding the room was very off-putting. The breakfast was bagels, packaged roll, waffle, yogurt. No fruit. No protein option. Extremely disappointing. Wyndham should screen franchise holders a little more carefully to protect its good name.
