We were very disappointed with our stay at the Rochester. They claim to have “quiet hours” in the evening but they don’t enforce it. We were in a room on the first floor and could not relax or sleep in our room because of the noise coming from the bar and guests outside. There is no staff on site in the evenings. I called the hotel’s main number for help with this issue and spoke with someone who couldn’t care less about the problem. If you think you’re getting a quaint, quiet, boutique hotel - you’re wrong. They would rather be selling fancy mixed drinks to locals than be accommodating to their hotel guests. At $350/night it’s just disgusting the way we were treated.

Welcoming and helpful staff. My boys enjoyed the continental breakfast every morning while mom enjoyed the complementary happy hour in the evenings. The suite was spacious. Awesome location. Although half the hotel is unavailable and there is no restaurant on site currently. There are great restaurants in walking distance. The pool is unheated and hot tub is out of order. The pool area could use some tlc.

the room was in good condition, the bed was great, very comfortable, good quality pillows and sheets,etc. the patio outside our door was convenient and private, and was able to get pool service to our patio since there was no shade at the patio when we were ready for lunch. pool was good, spa was good but only one spa had working jets, not a big deal for us but limited the amount of people that could enjoy the spa at the same time. lounge was nice, drinks excellent, and musician enjoyable. staff was good, and valets very accomodating. overall i would stay their again without hesitation.

The steak restaurant was amazing! Sparky was the best waiter!
