Phone not working , no hair dryer . Breakfast was bad . Old hotel and need renovation .

We recently stayed at the Sea Ranch in an oceanfront king room. The room was absolutely spotless and clean. The view was amazing. The bistro was very nice, food was great, staff was amazing at the bistro. The only improvement I can see with that would be more talented entertainment as well as no extra profanity or “sex” remarks while singing. (Family resort) The cons- the elevator was broke the entire time we were there. Everyone had to use the staff elevator which was so small you could barely get your luggage cart in it. (The luggage cart we used was prob 50 years old and left a lot to be desired). The elevator was old, crusty and hot. Only having one ice / vending machine for 5 floors (on 2nd floor) was a problem. The resort could definitely use an upgrade in several ways and an outdoor pool would be great. No one really wants to swim in an indoor pool in the summer. Might I also suggest that room service from the bistro would really be worthwhile. (For guests and hotel both) otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and highly recommend it if you have an oceanfront on higher levels.

Second year in a row visiting and the hotel is everything you should expect from a family-friendly resort environment. Despite being directly on the beach, the common areas stay clean and dry throughout the day and night. The staff is exceptionally courteous... they say hello, hold the elevator for you and say thank you when you reciprocate. Bar and restaurant are well maintained, but not exactly the party environment, though the new poolside daiquiri stand stayed busy. Both he rooms we experienced were spacious, however the ocean view balcony is the best part. We will be back next year.
