The property was great! Well maintained, the location was great, free breakfast is a plus of course. I appreciate that there was someone at the front desk who was bilingual so the language barrier wasn’t a big deal. The view of the city was nice! Oh, and the rainforest shower!!!? 🔥 Overall we had a great experience. I will say, the room had some blemishes that took away from the esthetic and the vanity mirror lighting wasn’t working. Something else to consider is the fragrance in when entering the lobby. While I love a great fragrance, this one was overwhelming upon entry. Lastly, my wife and I spent our last evening at the smaller pool that was available because the other was under construction. We were told we had to be put on a list to reserve the space so that it’s not over crowded. Totally fine. We set our reservation for 9pm-10pm. However, we walked in and there were 4 people already occupying the area. We weren’t told that multiple people could occupy the space. Otherwise we could have gone earlier and shared the space. We also would have taken the full hour if the chlorine wasn’t so strong. The fumes gave a my wife a headache. Maybe less chlorine would make for a more enjoyable experience in that space. These gentle critiques wouldn’t prevent us from staying here in the future. We really did enjoy our stay. I just felt it would be helpful to offer up these things.

Nice hotel, bad wifi.

This is a very nice and modern hotel, except that the WiFi was so slow it was mostly unusable. It’s located next to a very busy street that is not great to cross if you are on foot. A nice mall is next door where I got some of the best hummus ever. The old town, Casco Viejo, is just a short Uber ride away.
