When I parked my car to unload my suitcase, a taxi driver immediately started yelling at me to move because he was in a hurry. No one from the hotel staff came out to help, and I was worried that the taxi driver might hit my rental car or me. Because of my fear, I had to move my car to the street so he could speed off. Ultimately, I was left confused about the situation and why the hotel didn't care about their guests.

I had the best time at this hotel ! Due to the extremely reasonable price I was a bit worried that the hotel would be bad but it exceeded my expectations. I typically stay at another popular hotel when I’m in Panama but I decided to give principe a try and it did not disappoint. The room was clean and comfortable there was no fridge, microwave or iron but we knew that before booking and those things didn’t matter to us really , the bed was super clean and comfortable and the staff was amazing especially the bellmen ! There is an amazing Caribbean Asian restaurant right next door , we ate there every night ! There is also a cafe right next door where you can grab water and snacks if needed ! Based on the price we paid the hotel exceeded our expectations ! We were two black female travelers and felt super safe ! I’d definitely return! It’s also pretty close to both Albrook Mall and multiplaza .

This was my second time at the Principe. I only consider this place when I need a single night before traveling to another part of the country. The location is the biggest advantage. The poor WiFi is its biggest weakness. The hotel has no ice available or coffee but there’s a 24 hour convenience store next door that provides just about everything you might want or need. For the price Principe is good enough.

This hotel doesn’t even give you ice you have to pay for the ice, they don’t put cups in the room , I make reservations for 3 people in one room and they only put 2 towels, I call the first day for the extra towel and then I have to wait long hours for them to bring in to the room. The second day the same thing but this time I call 3 times and they told me that the towels was in the dryer and I have to wait. Unbelievable never again.
