Requested a ground floor room. Hotel does not have an elevator. Front desk clerk was very rude. Room was OK and clean.

The history of this hotel shines through. So enjoyable to walk around and read about the movie stars who stayed at the hotel and the movies made in the area. And finding the key to the speakeasy room was fun. Staff were attentive and helpful and rooms nicely done!

The staff was excellent, helping with questions regarding the TV. The maintenance needs to be improved. The toilet flap valve broke, things happen. The. Breakfast was very minimal. There was no non sticking spray for the waffle maker. When asked about it, the attendant said it had been ordered. Small things I know but small things make the difference.
