Shower was broken so only got a semi warm shower otherwise it was a lovely stay

Helpful folks at the front desk, sarah in particular, Bruce in the evening. My room was clean. The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was tiny. If you got up from the toilet, you bumped your head on the sink. However, I was introduced to the vapor cave, which was really the highlight of my time spent in the hotel. It was like being invited into a sacred ceremony, with the exception of One Loud visitor, who couldn’t stop talking and actually had brought her cell phone into ante chamber of the cave. Still it was like something I’d never experienced and I’m very grateful that Sarah pointed it out to me.

Loved the rooms and there were some snacks and water provided which was great for pre and post hikes. The spa was amazing, we liked to go at the end of the day to unwind. I was very surprised at how quiet it was in the rooms. I was worried that because it’s an old building we’d hear everything, but that was not the case. Bed and pillows were comfortable and I slept amazing!

Property is relatively expensive, but that is a fact of Ouray. Pleasant setting with adjacent water stream. Excellent location. We had minor maintenance issue (water heater) that was quickly and satisfactorily resolved.

Beautiful bed and breakfast. Really clean and historic

Pretty run down, I know it’s been there 30+ years but lots of wear and tear, staff didn’t tell me about an apparently planned local power outage. Fun eating the breakfast in the dark. Stayed for two nights, didn’t think I’d have to ASK for room service/towels etc,

Power was gone for hours… property has bugsz
