A nice historic property. Air conditioning units (one for bedroom and one for sitting room and bathroom) were noisy; the sitting room thermostat was erratic. The 3rd floor building corner unit was subject to some street noise, but in Big Spring this does not last very late; I'm not particularly noise sensitive. The retro bathroom was attractive, but limited by only a very small shelf for toiletries, and a sink incorporated spicket emitting water several inches below the top of the sink. The mid-summer air conditioning performance was good; exceptionally good water pressure. Hotel staff were cordial and helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was nothing special, just OK. Meal service was very slow, but that did not bother me much on this particular night.

Nicest La Quinta I have ever stayed in. Everything was exceptional!!

The window in my room was cracked with tape on it! The sink drain did not work properly. The door deadbolt didn’t work properly. The staff addressed the issues with we are working on it! Also offered me a free night of if I contacted Expedia to get it!
