Everything was great but the bathroom shower had mildew in it which I hate very much.

As I booked via Hotels.com and chose to pay at the hotel, I was overcharged for my stay, stating that the resort fees had gone up. We then stayed in the 'renovated tower", but the room was still beat up, the old furniture was still in use, and the room did not look like what is shown in the picture. The bathroom toilet was not visibly clogged, but it caused the shower to overflow. requiring maintenance to be in my room past midnight. We also stayed in a non-smoking room, but it smelled like all sorts of smoke everywhere. I had to place a towel at my door to block some of the light as the door gap was very large. The hotel had several restaurants, but only some were open, and on limited menus, which then limited food options.

Property was clean, staff was helpful. We had a nice view of the ocean from our room. There was only one chair and it needs to be replaced or reupholstered. Bathroom has very little counter space.

The casino itself outside of the rooms is well maintained and there is lots to do. My main issue with our stay was the accommodations themselves. We stayed in the Solana tower and for it to be advertised as newly renovated luxury rooms once inside it was clear the renovations were more of a cheap bandaid. The rooms were oddly muggy and humid. I hung a wet shirt out to dry and the next morning it was still completely soaking wet because of how damp the room was. The air conditioner was also not working properly as you could not lower it past 65 and it was reading the current room temp as such, when it was nowhere near. The air blowing from the vent was barely cool and we weren’t even able to sleep under the covers because of how warm it was. To top it off multiple elevators for the tower were broken. We at one point waited 30 minutes for an elevator to try and get downstairs and another 20 to get back up. The front desk also doesn't answer the phone at all so you have to go down and stand in line to get any help. Charging full and elevated prices for newly renovated rooms under these conditions is absurd. I understand you get what you pay for and if we had booked one of their cheaper rooms maybe I would be less sour but the experience I had for what was paid is never stay here again.

Pretty decent for the price and comfortable as well
