I travel to So. Illinois annually to visit but this is my first stay at the Makanda Inn. It will not be my last. I had a very peaceful stay- after long days of family visit and running around with the grands, it was so nice to stay here where it was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast every morning was top notch and just the right portions.

What an amazing little suite wrapped in a very thought-filled overall venue. Very unique room with a so many details. The overall building with fire pit, game rooms, and local vendor items…all was quite amazing. Every element is thought out very well. It is very convenient and overall comfortable. It was a great getaway.

The location was great hotel is near multiple restaurants and lots of shopping

Very friendly & helpful staff. Always love staying at Drury’s, the breakfast & evening appetizers/drinks are worth the price of the stay!

The cleaning crew was amazing. They were super friendly. The breakfast at this location was minimal. I was a little disappointed with that this time when I checked out, I didn’t get a receipt and when I try to ask, they said it’s because I booked on a third-party site, but they’ve always given me a receipt when I’ve left other than that the place was clean and accessible to a lot of things around. Can’t complain about that.
