Expedias states there is a restaurant and pizza may be available at the hotel. There is no restaurant at the hotel. You have to drive several miles to find somewhere to eat in the evening. It mentions there is a bar at the hotel. There is no bar. What it means is there is a room where you can bring your own beer/wine that you’ve bought elsewhere. The rooms are cold and it takes an age to get any hot water. On a positive, the young staff we met were very friendly, though both had only been there a few days. Won’t be staying there again.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable and staff attentive We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and food was very good Breakfast was as good as it gets lots of choice and all fresh If I had a gripe it would be to put USB ports in rooms. But compared to everything else it was no way a deal breaker

I hate to leave negative reviews on small business owners but think it would be terrible not to warn people about Woodhill. We used to go there years ago and I was excited to bring my adult kids there. Unfortunately the place has become extremely run down. The rooms are dirty, beds did not look too bad, but very old and small. My daughter found toothpaste and hair in her sink and the pipes nearly came of the wall when my husband tried to take a shower. Our son went to use the bathroom only to find it still had leftovers from previous guest. I think this says it all, we actually decided not to stay and lost 50% of our money due to late cancellation but ultimately found that preferable to staying there.
