The property was in a great location, very safe. Lots of parking however staff needed a little more training, no breakfast and because the hotel accepts pets our room did smell like wet dogs.

We enjoyed our stay at the historic Latchis Hotel. You really get the feeling of stepping back in time. The staff were very helpful and provided recommendations on places to eat besides just checking us in. The room was fine and the working record player with records was a nice touch. Parking is about a half block away behind the hotel. Make sure you see the historic Latchis Theater’s main room. It is really amazing and will definitely take you back in time.

My husband and I spent one night here on our way north for leaf peeping in Vermont. We were comfortable in the "Twin Room" and enjoyed the delicious breakfast. We would recommend that the owners note on the room description that the twin room is located on the main floor just outside of the dining room which made for a less private and quiet location.

We went for a girls trip for one night! Everything was amazing from check in to check out! We felt like we were greeting and taking care of our stay. The food is amazing the atmosphere is fantastic and can’t wait till next year!!!!

The room had an overpowering smell of cleaning products, and the only ventilation was a small bathroom window, so there was no real way to air it out. The property sits right off the highway, and traffic noise carried through the night, which made it hard to sleep. The space felt like it was put together as cheaply as possible, with little thought given to comfort or design. Additionally, none of the amenties were maintained or available. If you just need somewhere to crash for one night at a low price, it does the job. If you're hoping for a restful stay, I'd look elsewhere.
