The room was spacious and clean. Close to new haven union station, yale university and downtown. We enjoyed the pool, gym and the rooftop. Check in and check out process were very smooth. Sarah was very responsive to our questions. Would def stay here again.

The parking situation is very unclear. There is a small sign far from the lot that warns of towing but nothing in the area where you park. No significant warnings in communications with host.

Very charming hotel! Rooms are decorated nicely with plenty of downstairs gathering spaces. Easily walkable to Yale and lots of dining options.

The staff were incredible very accommodating and professional! Room was extremely clean and housekeeping staff were great... We will definitely will be back!!!

We stayed here for two nights when we were getting our house renovated. It was on our short list of hotels that accepted dogs that were 75 or more pounds. We have two German shepherds. The hotel had a lot of outdoor space to walk the dogs and had poopy bags and garbage outside. The staff was very friendly. We were on the first floor and had easy access to an exit door a few hundred feet from my room to easily walk the dogs. There is a small gym that was nice that I used the treadmill at. There’s a pool right next to the gym that we did not use, but it looked nice and clean. The room was nice. For a standard room it was on the bigger side. It had a small refrigerator, Keurig, coffee machine, and microwave. The bed was comfortable, but not the most comfortable I’ve slept on. The pillows were not very comfortable. There was a nice desk and the air conditioning worked well. There were electrical outlets and USB chargers to charge your devices on one of the nightstands. The shower and bathroom were clean. The water pressure in the shower was OK. There was a lot of counter space on the vanity to put toiletries. The main thing I did not like was that when you turned the bathroom light on it had a really loud fan. It would’ve been nice if there were separate switches for the fan and light. The Room was clean. There is a restaurant that we had grilled chicken sandwiches at one night that were really good. Overall, a nice three star property.

We recently stayed at Hyatus Downtown at Yale and had a good experience overall. The building is convenient and easy to access with a designated parking spot and the apartment unit felt modern, bright, and welcoming. Other highlights of the property are definitely the building amenities; having access to a fully equipped gym and a rooftop is a plus. The location is practical, positioned centrally between local businesses downtown New Haven, and some surrounding low-income blocks. To elevate the apartment to a true 5-star rating, a few maintenance and housekeeping details need attention. The throw blanket in the main room needed a proper wash before our arrival. The bathroom also felt somewhat average compared to the rest of the unit, the lighting was dim and needed a lighted mirror, while the vanity counter and tub/shower combo were somewhat worn down. Overall, it was a solid 4-star stay with great building features and a nice welcome bag with snacks.👍
