You can tell this was once a grand, luxurious hotel that has seen better day. It still has lovely bones but the wall paper is peeling, the bathtub in our room needed remodeling. When we walked in the building on one end (not the main lobby) you could smell cigarette smoke. The sheets on our bed were scratchy. At breakfast they had three gallons of milk out but they were all expiring that day. I smelled one and wouldn't use it. I wasn't impressed with their breakfast. On a positive note, it was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Doubt I'll have need to stay in Decatur again but probably wouldn't stay here again if I do.

Terrible the hot tub did not work in the pool was closed every morning for maintenance, so I didn’t even get to swim in it. The owner even said that the hot tub has been down for two years, but it’s not posted on the website. The free breakfast comes with no meat, no sausage or bacon just and gravy and waffles. You can tell the hotel is very ran down and needs some very good maintenance and cleaning.

Well I just want to start off by saying pictures are almost always deceiving! Read reviews on everything always! This hotel smelled bad & was very outdated, staff acted like we were annoying them by asking for more towels/blankets & not to mention we waited HOURS to even get them! I’ll never stay at this hotel again it gave off creepy vibes & just overall dirty! Don’t stay here.
