Great location, wonderful facility!

Standard chain Hotel. Clean but plain. No frills.

The staff were lovely, welcoming and very polite. The room was amazing—bright, fresh and beautifully presented, with a lovely scent when I first arrived. I especially loved the shower; I’d happily have one just like it at home! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept really well. The only very minor negative was a slight vibrating noise mainly noticeable at nighttime, which I presume came from the vents, but it wasn’t an major issue for me, especially with my earphones in. Overall, I had a really lovely stay and would happily return.

Fabulous courtyard room spotlessly clean shower room stayed a little damp after showering especially the floor but great amenities would def stay again. Food also good in the evening despite a delay in ordering due to a party of 90 even though we were residents thought this was a little harsh as people having food around us but had to wait until 8 . Great breakfast over the Penny Farthing so happy overall

This hotel is ok as a base but quite basic. There was no aircon, only a fan. The window only opened a small amount. The bathroom had visible signs of mold and hadn’t had either soap or shampoo bottles refilled which we didn’t discover until in the shower! The duvet wasn’t provided for the sofa bed, even though we booked a 3-person family room and there wasn’t much of a selection in the way of tea’s/sugar/milk supplied for 3 people, only 2 cups. There was a strong smell of Marijuana in the corridor which we reported but were told it was difficult to find out where it was coming from. Staff could have done a courtesy door knock in the area to find the culprit. Ideal location for Pontypool & Cwmbran and breakfast was ok but not sure we’ll return.
