The bed and furniture were so awful I had to rate this property low. We couldn’t sleep at all. Everything else was a nice experience.

What a pleasant surprise: A safe, well maintained hotel with an immaculate room and bathroom, Keurig coffee maker, clean microwave and 3.5 cu ft refrigerator, a nice included breakfast, responsive and professional staff and everything worked. And it was affordable. Lovely. If we return to Galena, we will stay there. Absolutely zero complaints.

The room was fine. Getting our luggage up the stairs to our room was a lot of work. The door in the room was very loud when other people were opening the door and closing it. The suctions was causing our door to rattle very loudly. The stay was ok, not terrible not great either.

Everything was top notch from the cleanliness of the property to the historic value and the attentiveness of the staff. I would highly recommend it! We had one little glitch - our thermostat was wonky and the room got too warm. Im sure it would have been an easy fix if we had called the front desk about it. We'll be back!
