Room needs a good spring cleaning , found a crack pipe in the couch when I went to clean it. The couch is not a pull out. It’s close to downtown and reasonable walk to Roger’s place if your in good health

I’ve stayed at the Nova before and all my experiences were very good! Clean rooms and hotel areas, staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient location and good parking. I’d recommend!

Fairmont Hotel Macdonald is an average hotel overall. The rooms were clean and well maintained, but the service left a lot to be desired. On arrival, the front desk staff weren’t particularly friendly or welcoming, and the concierge wasn’t especially helpful. On departure, however, the experience was much warmer, and Hendriks, the hotel’s canine ambassador, was an absolute gem and a highlight of the stay. It’s a decent place to stay if you’re looking for a clean room, but don’t expect exceptional service or a standout luxury experience.

Breakfast was well presented and a very good variety.
