This was, without question, the worst hotel experience our family has ever had. The problems started the moment we walked into our room. The overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke mixed with a strong musty odour made it feel like the room hadn't been properly cleaned or maintained in a very long time. We immediately requested a different room, only to be moved into another room that smelled just as bad. At that point, it was obvious this wasn't an isolated issue—it seemed to be throughout the hotel. The condition of the property was shocking. Torn-up carpets, exposed dirty concrete floors, and an overall run-down appearance made the entire place feel neglected. It certainly didn't resemble the hotel that was advertised online. The swimming pool was another huge disappointment. It had an unpleasant smell, and the water was so cloudy you couldn't even see the bottom. There was no way we were comfortable letting our family swim in it. Then came the breakfast fiasco. When booking through Expedia, I clearly entered that there were four people staying and paid an additional $35 for a "full breakfast." At check-in we were handed only two breakfast vouchers. When we got to the restaurant, we were told each voucher was worth just $5. Seriously? We paid $35 for breakfast and received $10 worth of vouchers. After going back to the front desk and arguing, they reluctantly gave us four vouchers, but even then they barely covered a basic breakfast of eggs, hash browns, and toast. Advert
