We stay at Holiday Inn Express as they are usually updated, well maintained, and the beds comfy. This hotel should not qualify for a Holiday Inn Express as it is not well maintained, and certainly not what we expected of this chain. The A/C in the lobby was a window unit, and it could not accommodate the size of the area. The room had Rid humidity bags that were full due to the A/C turned off. The walls in the hallway and room were highly scuffed and needed painting. The patio had pizza boxes and other trash strewn about at 9:00 am. The coffee always good, but breakfast not up to the standards. Definitely not the same as the other Holiday Inn Expresses that we have stayed in, and we will not stay again.

Everything was excellent except climbing up the hill to get to the villas but besides that it was excellent just gotta bring all wheel drive vehicle next time I go

Easy booking, clean big room with historic charm. Bar tender in the tavern was awesome. Food across the street at Stoners was excellent.

Excellent restoration!! Room decor is modern very nice bath. Overall outstanding. Parking is an issue

At approximately 12:20am another guest tried to get into our room, assumably because there was a mix up made by staff which is not safe. After that our key cards didn't work as they did at checkin. When I told the lady at the front desk she basically blew it off like it happened all the time. Breakfast didn't look appetizing so I can't speak on that. Common areas could use a good cleaning. (Thick dust/dirt on partial wall beside eating area, stains on chairs and carpets)
