We had a great and restful stay here. The hotel is very nice and the bed was very comfortable. It was also conveniently located close to the freeway. I would highly recommend it.

The property was not the problem. The problem was Expedia. I scheduled the stay on September 1st on my telephone 2 hours before arriving at the Hampton Inn only to discover that the date I accepted was not for the day I arrived. I mistakenly accepted the date on the screen not realizing that it was for September 9th. When I tried to check in, I was told that the hotel could not cancel the Expedia transaction. I called Expedia and was told I could not use the telephone transaction for my immediate stay. I, subsequently, had to pay immediately for the two-night hotel stay but called Expedia several times trying to cancel before September 9th date. I checked my bank account yesterday to discover I was charged for the stay on September 1st--my first night at Hampton Inn. Therefore, I am disputing the charge.

Well I checked in and was given room 251. Walked in and the smell of smoke was overwhelming. Hate smoke as it gives me a headache, but had to leave and when I got back asked to change rooms. They gave me room 145 and walked in and didnt smell like smoke (at first) but was very stale. The thermostat was shredded but was able to see the on/off and fan speed. Nothing worked. So went back and asked for a different room and was told since I was changed once, couldnt change again. They did give me a fan but it was so loud had to turn it off to get to sleep and then I could smell the smoke. Was barely able to sleep as the air was stale and smelled of smoke and ended up with a pounding headache. So a negative star but they do not allow it. The location is poor, but was thinking just needed a place to get some rest and it was cheap. Mistake as I had almost no rest but I guess it was cheap. Clientiele was like the people of Wal Mart, very iffy at best, but could have coped if the fan was working and didnt smell like smoke. Best to pay more money to have gotten some rest,
