The staff were friendly. There is only one elevator and it took forever to reach you most of the time. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything outside and in the rooms next to you. Parking was not easy. Parking is across the street and parking can be very tight. Sometimes it was hard getting in and out if two vehicles were parked by the entrance and exit. Easy access to the beach and boardwalk.

I did not like that the dresser drawers were all dirty and dusty. Could not put any clothes in the drawer. The microwave didn’t work to heat food up in. There was no hot water the night before checking out or the morning of checking out. Stains were on the walls in the bathroom. I was disappointed with my stay and the motel could be fixed a little better. It was not worth the price.

Sand was on the floor when we arrived, door was hard to open. Beds were hard, we had to ask for them to clean the room every day. Too nosy on the broad walk at night.

Check in was flawless, and the room was perfect.

For what I paid it wasn’t worth it. I should get money back. Some of the blinds were broken and the one bedroom window didn’t have one at all. Told the manager but no one came to install one. Nothing like the picture. Our full bed the frame was broken. The can opener should be thrown away filthy. The cleaning staff was very accommodating though. Don’t STAY THERE .

Pros: Great location, right on the beachfront boardwalk / Beautiful beach / Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby / Two pools (one indoor and one rooftop). Cons: Limited parking, and you have to walk a few minutes from the parking area to the hotel / The property is supposed to be smoke-free, but not all guests follow the policy. Our room smelled like marijuana when we arrived, and the odor came back from time to time when other guests were smoking / The kitchenette was only equipped with one pot. There were no utensils or dish towels / Very little storage space, and the only dresser with drawers was broken. We had a room with a "city view," and each morning the garbage truck came to pick up the trash at 5 AM.

I booked this hotel for two things: the location and the oceanfront view. I was willing to accept the fact that the hotel might be a little run-down. The first red flag were the bartenders who decided dishes were more important than customer service. The bartender provided the menu at the poolside bar, then proceeded to do dishes for 20 minutes. We couldn't get her attention, so we left and went to the downstairs bar. Three bartenders were cutting fruit and did not acknowledge us for a solid ten minutes - we eventually procured a beer and then left. The next day we were surprised to find a pile of human feces behind a lounge chair at the pool. We informed the bartender (the same one that ignored us the previous night.) On our final night, the fire alarm went off at 3am. Apparently this is a regular occurrence at the hotel, and staff did not even offer an apology for the disruption. A complimentary breakfast might have been nice, but no, they were committed to doing nothing for their guests. Proximity to the ocean is excellent, so if you are able to overlook a LOT of issues, this hotel might be fine for you.
