Great place for a fun family vacation. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Manager was SO RUDE when I tried to check in 40 minutes early, at 3:20pm. I stopped in earlier in the afternoon where there was a different employee, very kind young man, working and he told me I could "check in for free after 3 IF there is a room available" or I could pay an extra $75 to check in at 1 when I was there originally. AC didn't work in room, and because check in is so late, there's no one around to help fix it. Breakfast is 7-9, got there at 8 with my toddler and there wasn't a drop of coffee left or hot food, just some stale looking dried up muffins and bagels. Beds were hard as rocks and pillows were similar to tissue paper. On a positive note, the little old lady who was working by herself had a lobby FULL of people waiting to check in and she handled it like a champ, I'm sure underpaid, but had a smile the whole time. I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even my dog.

What a beauty!! The hosts were wonderful—helpful and so kind. The motel is literally up the hill from everything in Boothbay Harbor. The price was so affordable and one night wasn’t long enough!! Thank you Mid-Town! We shall return!!

This place was only about a half hour or so from Acadia National Park which was perfect for us. It was a large space for our family of 5. It was clean and organized and had more than 1 bathroom which was necessary. The sitting area easily accommodated all of us as well as the kitchen. It wasn’t far from many places in Ellsworth either. We were able to spend time in Acadia National Park but still have a large enough area for the whole family to relax when we got back. I really appreciated the listing of local places to try or visit. FYI we loved Schoodic Point and Cadillac Mountain especially. Would definitely recommend this place especially with family.
