Great for entire family. Lots of room with space for quiet time. Not enough toiletries, ran out first day which was disappointing

The parking was adequate but not plentiful. The rooms seemed clean but had a funny smell. The AC unit barely worked and was also very musty smelling. The biggest concerns was the area. There was a robbery and a shooting nearby in the night. Watching the crackheads/methheads/tranqs ect. on the street from our room view was also concerning, as they were making there way into the parking lot. I know this is not a hotel issue, however this is something to keep in mind. I would suggest staying well outside of Memphis as this is a widespread issue in the area.

The bathroom was very nicely updated and clean. The rest...not so much. The carpets in the room and the halls are very old and stained everywhere. My major problem was that the TV didn't work. I couldn't get anything but the home screen, so I was stuck watching one channel in a small corner of the home screen. I called to the front desk and she said that they don't have anyone in maintenance at that hour (wasn't that late...like 9pm) but she'd send up another remote from a vacant room. But that never happened. (She was very nice but seemed overwhelmed.) I'm pretty sure that wouldn't have helped anyway. Also, parking wasn't at the property. It was across the street. Which was pretty easy. But when I went back to pick up my car the next morning, none of the elevators worked, so I had to drag all my luggage up to the fifth floor, with no safe walking space.

Overall Needs improvements because the Pool was closed and could not swim because to many kids splashing and diving in pool! Also, one room was not like pictures
