Vado Vacation Packages

Our Scout families arrived on Sunday to enjoy the water slide. I picked this hotel SPECIFICALLY for the waterslide that was advertised. However, I was told at registration on Sunday, at 3pm, that the waterslide was closed for the day. They only have lifeguards until 1pm on Sundays for a very safe-looking slide. For people arriving on Sundays with a check in at 3pm, this amenity is false-advertising. Also, very few people swim in the morning, however, in the heat of July, having a lifeguard in the heat of the day would make more sense. I had asked for a room next to my elderly parents, but their 2nd floor wacky numbering system does not put odd/even rooms together. Their signage could use help. Otherwise, nice hotel, hot breakfast was good. The airport is literally across a small street, so SUPER helpful. They had a free 24-hour airport shuttle for my parents. Large rooms with only a few odd repairs needed. I will be going back, but calling ahead for the slide.

Beautiful historical hotel with excellent service, facilities, and amenities. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Great views of downtown El Paso.

Everything was great except the ac.. the room where really hot we had to sleep with the windows open for boths rooms with my kids and that was not comfortable..
