Room was clean, and windows were excellently glazed to prevent any traffic noise from the streets. Very convenient with the bus stop right outside to get to the ferry as well as Newport/anywhere else on the isle. Osbourne house right across the street. food options were limited around the pub, but the floating bridge to Cowes conveniently down the road by either a 20 min walk or the bus.

The staff were very helpful, the only (first world problems) issue we found was the shower - the pressure drops and you get no water and then 2 minutes later it comes back on. Our room was good, reasonably comfy. One of the bar staff was a bit snippy but the bar was very busy. Overall we would stay at This chain again.

I specifically booked, paid extra for and travelled further to this hotel as I wanted an air conditioned room. I was told on arrival that they had upgraded guests that checked in before me and thete were none left; effectively they had given my room away. After putting pressure on them they gave me a room that was reserved for someone yet to check in. I wanted room service food but there was no menu. I was told you have to ring for a menu to be delivered first. I went back to my room and there was no telephone in the room and no mobile reception as the place is rural. Back to the bar to be told if I wanted room service I had to put a £50 deposit down at the bar, which I did. My food arrived and the waiter had a chip & pin machine for me to pay? When I tried to get my deposit back when checking out the Reception didn't know anything about paying a bar deposit. Whilst the Staff were pleasant they were also clueless. The place seemed in disarray. Definitely not worth the money or hassle, not sure how it ranks as 4* tbh

Overall a good experience. We upgraded to a deluxe room as our original room had no a/c ( which I find odd for a modern hotel). The upgrade was definitely worth it; a bigger room, nice free minibar and Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. The hotel was nice and quiet and had a relaxing feel. Staff were friendly if not super service minded however, this did not detract from the experience. Food selection was adequate but not mind blowing - the burger was very nice. The setting was lovely as was the surrounding area.

Good hotel for a 1 night stop before our Cruise. Clean and modern. Breakfast included which was okay. Staff on front desk very helpful.

Great place to stay for an evening and wonderful friendly staff who are a real asset to this place. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The bed sheets and pillows are cheap awful quality in the Grange building. In comparison the Mansion is quite luxurious. Stayed in both several times and other than the Mansion house on hot days absolutely cooking you stay there for the extra £10!
