We had a beautiful view of the beach and the room is decorated so nicely. The valet were very welcoming and the front desk staff super friendly. We had a great quiet day, what a fun day on a gorgeous beach.

I checked in around 3:30 PM and was assigned a room on the 4th floor. As soon as I entered the room, I noticed spots on the bed sheets. I immediately contacted the front desk and was told someone from housekeeping would come replace them. By 5:45 PM, no one had come, so I went back to the front desk. I was assured they would notify housekeeping again. I left for a few hours to run errands and returned around 9:00 PM, only to find that the sheets had still not been changed. When I called the front desk again, I was told, “Well, we put the request in. I can get you the sheets and you could change them.” I found that response unacceptable. I was on vacation and certainly didn’t expect to make my own bed because housekeeping failed to do their job. The front desk then offered to move us to another room on the 5th floor. After packing up all of our belongings and relocating, we walked into the new room and immediately found roaches. At that point, I requested a full refund because the conditions were completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, one of the elevators was out of service the entire time, and there was a strong mildew odor throughout the property, especially when entering the building. While on the 4th floor, I also spoke with several other guests who told me they had requested new rooms because of the smell as well. As of today, I am still waiting for my refund.
