It was a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. It was ok

We stayed at Jiva Hill for just one night, but by the time we checked out, we were already talking about coming back. Everything about our stay was flawless. We were incredibly lucky with beautiful weather, which meant we could really appreciate the wonderful setting, the views and the golf course. It feels peaceful and removed from the city, yet the location is remarkably convenient, around 15 minutes from Geneva Airport and approximately 30 minutes from central Geneva. What impressed us most, though, was that the five-star experience goes far beyond the facilities. The hotel is five star, the service is five star, and the food is five star. Every member of staff we encountered was genuinely friendly, helpful and welcoming, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food. Dinner was excellent, and breakfast was particularly impressive, with such a wide choice that there really was something for everyone. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, wonderful food and genuinely warm service made this a very special stay. We were only here for one night, and somehow we are leaving feeling as though it wasn’t nearly long enough. We would very happily return, and hopefully next time for a little longer. Thank you to the whole Jiva Hill team for such a memorable stay.

I suggest you avoid this hotel. It is poorly run and our “superior “room was barely big enough to turn around. We put a sign on our door saying please clean the room and no one ever cleaned it during the three days we were there. The receptionist at the front desk in the evening could not speak a word of English. Fair enough. We were in France. But we were in the heart of a big tourist area and he was unable to help people. We never got clean towels until the last night and we had to go down and beg for them. The lounge is decorated like a low end 1970s lounge with bad taste. The smell in the lounge choked me. Maybe it was incense, but it was not breathable. The lift was out of order two days. The breakfast was mostly a variety of different breads. I would say give this place a mess. The only good thing about it is its location.

Pros - Overall, the apartment was clean and modern. It is spacious with enough storage for our belongings. Convenient location and come with strong working A/C, great feature in summer; also having washer, dryer and functioning kitchen are good features. Cleaners come in everyday to help wash dishes, tidy up, etc. which was nice. Cons - Dryer was not functional and had to self fix. Shower tiles were grimy and moldy.
