Very nice place

$400 is not cheap. Its less than 5 minutes from the airport/pretty much right next to planes and cargo, etc. Its an old hotel that is showing its age. For the money we expected more. Having said that, the staff was crazy good. We loved them. They were so nice and accmmodating. We could not have been happier talking with them and learning about their experiences in Anchorage.

The recessed light in the ceiling fell out of the ceiling and was just dangling.

I didn’t get to explore all the rooms of the property. Wish we had had more days. Breakfast was yummy and the ladies served us even though we were very late coming down from the bedroom. Our bedroom was perfectly located. # 5 was 50’ from the luxurious hot tub and right beside the laundry room where I washed out enough clothing to fly home decently. Everything had an old world flavor and was tasteful. I bet the resident Saint Barnard was overwhelmed when snow comes!

I've stayed here before. This time, pile of cigarette butts on the front stoop. Strange odor. From entry was full of shoes and crap. And the upstairs neighbors were thumping around at 6:30 am and all day, in evening. I couldn't bear to spend another night so I checked into a downtown hotel instead. I'll never be back.
