Lovely all round B&B experience, from arriving to departing. Dorothy is a fantastic host. Good size bedroom with french doors leading out to a patio with table and chairs. Great views from a well maintained garden towards Bath in the distance. Very large ensuite including a big corner bath. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfasts including choice of cereals, yoghurts, orange juice, plus varied cooked breakfast options including scrambled eggs and salmon and a large Wiltshire Breakfast - sausages, bacon, hash browns, egg either scrambled, poached or fried available, mushrooms, and tomatoes. Dorothy is happy to provide advice on where to eat, visit locally plus bus route options in and out of Bath. Quiet and peaceful location.

We stayed in the family room, it was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. On arrival, staff we friendly and helpful. Off street parking was available but the town is lovely and you could park in the street.

Clean room, but wonder how warm it will be in Winter as only single glazing. Staff very good. Breakfast was good, but standard coffee served was only just passable. I think you could pay extra and get a ‘proper’ coffee though!

The shower needs refurbishment: too old (e.g. knobs not 'aligned' with the hot/cold signs); weak water pressure.

Really brilliant hotel. Can’t recommend it enough

Our stay began with a good parking space and a lovely welcome and finished with a wonderful goodbye after a super breakfast individually prepared. It is a peaceful place with a great atmosphere and a comfy bed. Everything worked and was clean. Some who might want all modern fittings would say tired but I would say in keeping with a country setting and charming.

Amazing hotel with super helpful staff & lovely food! Would highly recommend & will always be our go to hotel if we visit South Wales again.
