I really enjoyed our stay at LaQuinta. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The fitness room is very clean. The parking and area, in general, felt safe. We ate at the complimentary breakfast once. It was decent and it kept us from having to eat out on a rushed morning. The only thing I would recommend is for travelers to take their own shampoo and conditioner.

Loved the unique memorabilia. The whole place was a vibe. Valets we're especially helpful.

This is my 2nd time staying at City Mills. I enjoy the quiet and serene outdoor space. The onsite restaurant was decent. Our waitress was very attentive. Look forward to my next visit.

When we arrived late afternoon there was a note attached to the front door directing us to our room and that they were busy with another client, but did supply a number to call. Our room door was wide open with the keys laying on a table. We did try to call to ask about the wifi and breakfast. We received a text, 3 hours later, with the wifi info and that we were not getting breakfast or coffee as it was not included. I understand about breakfast, but no coffee? There was no TV's anywhere and I do not remember seeing that on the site, but I may have overlooked. The house itself was nice, historical, but we were not overwhelmed by it, nor the lack of attention to customers by the owners. Very overpriced for what you get.

This property is a hidden gem. The outer appearance is appealing which leads you to the well-maintained inside. There was plenty of room for our guests and the hosts were very responsive and courteous. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area.
