Amazing house a lot of history. Staff and location were excellent. I enjoyed the history.

Exactly what we had hoped this property would be. Beautiful view outside our room a few hundred feet above the CF River. Was expecting a smallish room based on square footage listed, but was surprised at how large the room was. King size bed, a cozy sitting area and plenty of room in between. Breakfast was amazing each morning and never the same meal. Great place to relax and unwind.

I was exhausted from traveling and the stress of a new job and accidentally left my good pair of black shoes behind. I realized almost immediately and let the front desk know and that I would be back in less than a week and she said they would secure them and hold for 30 days. When I returned 5 days later, the same front desk person when to look for them and they were not locked up. Then she went back to the room which was absurd because it was 5 days later, but my shoes were nowhere to be found. So either she or another staff member stole them. She assured me when I first spoke to her that she would take care of it right away. If she had gone up to the room right away, she would have found them and could have locked them up as she promised she would do. I won't stay here again.

👍

This is the place I have stayed for decades when I am in the area. The town is only a few blocks.
