Super cool, friendly staff .. best stay in Nola

Incredibly noisy. Terrible high pitched buzzing all night and morning the staff said there was nothing they could do about it. If that didn’t wake me up the dogs barking every morning did. We were here for a wedding and this may have been the worst experience of my life. I don’t normally write reviews but I urge anyone looking at this hotel to look elsewhere before booking. The man at the front with the dreads was rude and ignored me from the back room and the security guard might have been the highest person I’ve ever seen and reeked. I wanted to change hotels during my stay but because I booked with Expedia it was too much of a headache to get my money back. Horrible horrible experience.

Not a place I would recommend unless you are an influencer.

Excellent staff and proximity to great food . Restaurants snd music

This is a great location for a property. Close enough to Bourbon Street to walk, yet quite enough, not to be disturbed by the noise. This is an old hotel, 200 years old, and it’s just terribly difficult to uphold the repairs and the amenities on a property like this. If you have a balcony room, make sure it’s overlooking the pool, and not the parking lot Toilet needed to be flushed three or four times for a complete flush. No chair for the desk until I requested one. No chairs or table on balcony. Only one elevator works. After the first day, I didn’t even bother for breakfast. Below average. Sometimes, It appeared that staff was more interested in texting on their telephone, then helping out guests. So remember, this is a cute little boutique hotel, with a great location, in the French Quarter. There’s no training program to teach the staff like at a Hilton or SHERATON. The property is difficult to maintain. I’d say it is a fair value for the money

Needed to stay somewhere with a freezer since we wanted to take home our catch plus some gulf shrimp. We had plenty of space here and a decent view. Everything was in good shape and never waited long for an elevator. Staff were excellent but the timeshare people were a little aggressive. Location was a little noisy but so convenient, it’s a trade off in this town.
