Our room was a bit of hike up the stairs and no a/c, but it was a cute room and we were offered a fan to help beat the heat. Very nice staff and great location, the restaurant attached to the hotel is a must eat, best gnocchi I have ever had and our waitress Sheila was absolutely lovely.

A great hotel about 10 min walk to the lake and downtown. Room was large and had a balcony view of the lake. We enjoyed the breakfast lots of options and some gluten free options. The hotel has a great lounge and bar area. Outside the pool and garden was a treat to visit and cool off in the pool. We highly recommend this hotel.

We were very fortunate to have a room in the front with a wonderful lake view. The hotel is comfortable older property, but the room and bathroom were large and spotless. Location is excellent, right next to the bus stop close to the town. Restaurant is excellent. Only negative is the absence of a grab bar in the bathtub/shower.

We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. I also have a couple suggestions to make the room even better: -Provide a properly functioning coffee machine (Ours only produced 1-2 tablespoons of coffee. Maybe it needed to be decalcified.) - Place a mirror and trash bin in each bedroom

Property was clean. Reception desk was polite and helpful. Buffet breakfast was excellent.
